Remote Doctors' Professional Network
Doctors’ Health NT is pleased to invite all remote NT medical practitioners (inc. Registrars) to an opportunity to receive ongoing peer support in a safe, confidential environment, via Zoom or Phone if you have poor internet access, facilitated by an experienced senior medical colleague, former NTGPE medical educator and Balint Group leader:

Sessions commence on Wednesday 17th February – 6pm to 7.30pm - Initially continuing fortnightly for 6 sessions, final session on 28th April (Attendance at each session is encouraged but not essential)

Sessions will include current or past challenges you have experienced as a result of working remotely in the NT. Examples of challenges could include:
Challenging interactions with patients, families, or practice staff
- Dealing with Indigenous cultural issues and/or culture shock
- Reduced specialist support
- Work/life balance
- Burnout and/or its prevention
- Wellbeing strategies
- Personal issues such as feeling isolated from a support network
- Limited access to food and supplies
