Have Your Say

Your feedback will shape the future of this program

All medical practitioners across the Northern Territory are invited to help guide the future doctors’ health program in the NT.

The Doctors’ Health NT program was established in 2016 to improve the health of NT doctors and medical students for the good of community. Supported by a highly engaged NT Medical Advisory Panel representing the profession, the current program offers:

  • Training and education in doctors’ health training to grow the network of special interest GPs in the Territory
  • The 24/7 confidential phone advisory service
  • Telemedicine consultations with an experienced General Practitioner
  • Broad education about self-care and caring for colleagues

The future program now needs the broader profession’s input.

Dr Roger Sexton, Medical Director, Doctors’ Health SA & NT encourages all doctors to have a say, “I warmly invite my colleagues to complete this first NT-wide doctors’ health survey. It is short and anonymous, and data will be collated for analysis and program planning only”.
“I look forward to your thoughts and ideas. This is vital for the program to continue to be relevant and make an impact”, Roger said.

Click on this online survey it is open until UNTIL COB, FRIDAY 2ND AUGUST. Your feedback is completely anonymous, and is de-identified, with only an aggregated report compiled for the Doctors' Health NT Program Advisory Panel to use when planning the future activities of the program.

If you have any questions about the survey or have difficulty accessing it please contact: Program Manager, Kiara Cannizzaro via email or mobile 0438 610 563.

It is vital that all Northern Territory doctors are able to directly impact the direction of the program
